Message The silver 4mm line reads the manifold pressure, and is what the "brain" uses to know when to open the wastegates. The red 6mm line is just the source of pressure the solenoid uses to open the wastegate, via the black 6mm line.

If you don't have the nipples on the outlet pipes (I realize most don't), the proper source for pressure can be found in this Tech article. Even though you're installing an EVC, the solenoid source is the same. Step 18 deals with the solenoid vacuum source.
